Today Juan and I tried to join Lawrence Mandel's vidyo room in Warp Core but we were unable to do so. Can we add all of the people who have Vidyo rooms and have them show up by default in the directory of all Rooms (and Sync periodically so it is kept up to date?)
Everyone has a Vidyo room so it'll be pre-loading 600+ rooms. What about real clear documentation on how to use the Polycom rooms to connect to a Vidyo room? (btw, we're working to add native Vidyo in Warp Core)
Part of the issue I see ties into Zimbra not having the numbers you need to plug in - the meeting invite says "Lawrence Mandel's vidyo room" but doesn't include the number. So the documentation would need to include the person providing the number if you are not connecting from your laptop.
Also, what about searching by name? that didn't work for us either.
The Polycom isn't Vidyo so unfortunately you won't be able to search Vidyo's directory from Polycom. You are able to search on your desktop client to get the room extension. "Lawrence Mandel's vidyo room" is a user generated string. Zimbra has no meeting room resource by that name and won't be able to add the extension. It'd be best if Mandel changes the text to ""Lawrence Mandel's vidyo room (899)" or similar. This is mostly a CANTFIX - can't fix the Polycom interface in the way that you want. The better fix is to replace Polycom with Vidyo but that's down the list a bit.

marica, The plan is to replace these rooms eventually, but in the meantime the dial string will be: 63.245.220.25##04 followed by the users extension. This can be found from the Vidyo Web UI in any browser. Just login to v.mozilla.com and search for that persons name and their extension will be next to their name. Though like mrz said, it would be best if the user advertised their extension ahead of time.
