Description

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.7; rv:15.0) Gecko/15.0 Firefox/15.0a1
Build ID: 20120602030527

Steps to reproduce:

Open https://bugzilla.mozilla.org in a new browser window. Switch Mac OS Lion Fullscreen mode on. Click "Log in", click "Sign in" (with browserid).

Actual results:

The browserid popup opened. It was maximized and opened in its own fullscreen space, with a lovely animation. I continued to complete the browserid sign-in process. At the end the popup closed and I was left at a blank fullscreen space.

Expected results:

The browserid popup should have been opened in the same fullscreen space as the original tab. This does work for things like the "view page source" or "view page info" dialogs.

Even if that's not easy to do, I shouldn't be left staring at a blank fullscreen space, but instead be taken back to the original space with Firefox in it.

This was fixed in bug 803675, the popups open in a new tab.
