Steps to reproduce:

1. Ensure the search bar is present on a visible toolbar.
2. Select a search engine other than Google (e.g. DuckDuckGo).
3. Select some text on a web page.
4. Invoke the context menu.
5. Remove the search bar from the visible toolbars (for example by hiding the toolbar it's on).
6. Select some text on a web page.
7. Invoke the context menu.

Expected results:

At steps 4 and 7, the context menu includes “Search DuckDuckGo for "some text"”.

Actual results:
Firefox 12:
At steps 4 and 7, the context menu includes “Search DuckDuckGo for "some text"”.
Firefox 13:
At step 4, the context menu includes “Search DuckDuckGo for "some text"”.
At step 7, the context menu includes “Search Google for "some text"”.

This is similar to but distinct from bug 436265, because this bug has been introduced since Firefox 12.
OK, I now think this isn't a regression; rather, my setting for browser.search.defaultenginename got reset. So I think this is bug 436265.
