- open bookmarks window - click "file bookmark" in the bookmarks drop down, as soon as you mouse over an item with a submenu, both child and parent vanish. makes it sorta hard to use.

A mechanism for filing a bookmark into a particular using the keyboard/mouse is currently checked in (went in with my other .9 fixes). It is a method that allows a user to place a bookmark where he or she wishes without breaching user interface guidelines from Apple or Microsoft (no deeply nesting menus): Bookmarks->Add Bookmark As... (Ctrl+Shift+D) Opens the add bookmark dialog and allows the bookmark to be filed somewhere. Does this meet the requirements for this bug? This seems like the best fix to me. IE allows drag into its toplevel menu in the windows versions only, but this is kind of a geek thing, and isn't that discoverable on windows so I doubt many users know about it. There are also XP problems with dragging into and opening popups that are not likely to be fixed before this release. So I would suggest that the Add Bookmark As... dialog is sufficient at this juncture.

Should be fixed. File Bookmark now fires the Add Bookmark dialog. Please verify, thanks.
