...otherwise updates don't work. This should be pretty easy now that we have root-level blob updating in the API.

Hit this after the nightly blob was reset in bug 819349.

Per bug 853036, we should be using the lowercase "sha512" when we do this.

I have a fix for this over in bug 877925.

Fixed by bug 877925. Today's *-nightly-<date> blobs have hashFunction set on them, and in testing it works for *-latest too.
