I know we are dealing with dependencies that are out of our control but is there any way we can find a way to speed up the rendering of the people page (https://reps.mozilla.org/people/).

It's the centerpiece of the Reps website yet it's agonizingly slow to load :(
Totally true. We'll deliver a fix for that along with 0.3 (or even sooner). Marking this a duplicate, to collect all comments in one bug.
