Details

Scrolling the tab bar on a mac book pro goes much faster than you'd expect. You should be able to move it pixel by pixel like you can scrolling a page. Instead, it goes in large jumps.
> Scrolling the tab bar

Sorry, but what does this mean?

You can scroll the tab bar left and right with a touch pad.
Now I get it. The tab bar can be scrolled if you have more tabs than will fit.

Is this a recent problem? Or has it always been this way.

Is it worse/better on other platforms (like Windows and Linux)?

I believe it's always been this way.

I'd expect it's no better on other platforms.

Which implies this isn't a Cocoa widgets bug.
