Can you describe what you are thinking about in more details please ?
Severity: normal → enhancement
Sure. In Firefox preferences, under Tabs, there is an option: "When I open a link in a new tab, switch to it immediately" If the box remains unchecked, the link opens but the tab you're already on stays at the forefront. In Thunderbird there is no such option, when you open an email in a tab, that newly opened email becomes forefront. I would like to see this option - a normal part of Firefox since the advent of tabbed browsing - become available in Thunderbird as well.
