In addition to the Display Name, it is possible to edit the Username, which is the slug of the user page’s address. The settings editor tries to make it clear that the Username is the slug by showing the address base, but for me that makes it even more confusing, because page space is being spared by showing only a part of the base, whose length depends on the font size. By default I see something like: “Username [https://marketplac… | aleksej]” Is it easy to guess that “https://marketplac…” means the beginning of the part of the address to which “aleksej” is attached?
Full page zoom, which is default in Firefox, doesn’t affect the amount of letters displayed significantly.
…but to get more letters displayed, I have to *decrease* the relative text size until it becomes almost unreadable because of sub-pixel rendering (haven’t tried with NoSquint which can controls both full-page and text-only zoom, but I suppose that’s not a solution). The page body seems to have a font size of 13px hard-coded.
(In reply to Aleksej [:Aleksej] from comment #2) > The page body seems to have a font size of 13px hard-coded. The number is from Inspector, apparently “Computed”. The size does not obey font size settings, unless it is the “Minimum font size” setting.
That field no longer exists on the page.
