There is some interest amongst users of solaris-on-intel for nightly builds to
be included alongside solaris-on-sparc builds. Would this be possible, or is
there another route to abtain these from the 'ports' area ?
Granrose, bismark?

I think we may have a Solaris x86 build system, but it's probably a P2/100 or
something pathetically slow like that (and might only be for 4.x builds).
First someone has to make sure it builds, then we have to set up a build system.
This isn't a high priority for me as a Netscape person.

It /appears/ to be functioning in the Ports area.
Maybe it might be better to generalise the point as giving ftp access to ('use
at own risk') builds from the ports tinderbox (BSD, Solaris/Intel etc.)
Not being familiar with how a nightly is selected from the tinderbox build
(assuming that is the mechanism) I do not know how much work that would be to
implement.
If the hardware as low end as you suggest, then it could be moot in any case.

The build is insanely slow (9 hrs, at least 2 of which is getting the tarball &
untarring it) but they're on the ftp site now.
