Steps to reproduce:

Opening a new tab or scrolling existing tab's page using my center mouse wheel


Actual results:

I experience some delays causing not responding appear on Firefox Application bar for 3 to 10 seconds


Expected results:

It should be no delay

Hello Nachem,

i just found your bug-report from 2012 and want to ask you for a short update.
over the last 2 years there was many updates on Firefox, so maybe this was also solved with one of the updates?

if not, it would be nice if we can get some more information about the problem -> like: is it working in safe mode?

this ended up being an issue with an addblock extension I was using at the time.

Because I had terrible repro steps I can't be sure, but I think this was fixed a while ago.

Sorry for emailing, don't have access to that email anymore (I get forwards from it but don't have the password) and don't remember my password to the bug site.
