Details

When creating a new email campaign from the admin UI, if the signature field is left empty, an "Unknown Server Error" is raised with no additional information on what went wrong. From Matt Brandt in bug 763994: > Steps to reproduce: > 1. goto https://crash-stats.allizom.org/admin/email > 2. create a campaign - but leave the 'Exact signature' field blank > 3. click 'next step' > > Expected: > If the 'Exact signature' field is blank and the 'next step' button is > clicked an error message should be presented to the user letting them know > this field is required. > > Actual: > Clicking the 'next step' successful submits the form and redirects to > https://crash-stats.allizom.org/admin/confirm_email. A generic server error > message is presented to the user.
This looks like a good first bug to me -- anyone interested in working on this, please contact me! :)

@adrian: I want to try and fix this bug. I'm not able to open the link as it asks for username and password. Could you please guide me through this? Thanks!
The email campaign feature is going to disappear, we won't fix this.
