Steps to reproduce:

I keep losing my pinned tabs. 


Actual results:

Had that happens for a couple of months now, tried different approaches, such as terminating the firefox task, never ever closing firefox, etc. needless to say after a while, when I Have To close it for some reason(updates), it loses all the pinned tabs I have.


Expected results:

Have firefox never ever lose tabs. Tried to switch to chrome, but that one has the same problem.

App (pinned) tabs and Tab Groups (Panorama) are stored as part of the session data in the file sessionstore.js in the Firefox profile folder.

Make sure that you do not use "Clear Recent History" to clear the "Browsing History" when Firefox is closed because that prevails and prevents Firefox from opening tabs from the previous session.

I never knew you could use Clear Recent History if FF is closed, I thought it had to be open.

Still, I lost my tabs at least 5 times.
