User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.0; WOW64; rv:13.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/13.0.1
Build ID: 20120614114901

Steps to reproduce:

I opened a PDF document in Firefox which was having an embedded URL to a FTP path. I clicked the URL.

Actual results:

The URL was appended twice

Expected results:

It should not be appending the URL again.
the URL of the FTP is in below format

ftp://username:password@domain.com/dirA/dirB/files/filename.xxx. When clicking on the link it gives a FTP 550 error and the URL in the message box is shown as /dirA/dirB/files/dirA/dirB/files/filename.xxx.

The URL is getting appended twice.

This ONLY happens in Adobe reader plug-in in Firefox. From Adobe Reader client, it works fine...
Closing old bugs in the Plugins component. We aren't going to track issues in 3rd-party plugins in the Mozilla bug tracker. In addition, support for NPAPI plugins will be removed at the end of this year; for more details see the post at https://blog.mozilla.org/futurereleases/2015/10/08/npapi-plugins-in-firefox/

If there is a serious bug in Firefox, it needs to be filed in the "Core" product, "Plug-Ins" component.
