Steps to reproduce:

Since upgrading to FF13 (13.0 & 13.0.1): whenever I select a pulldown menu (eg. Bookmarks menu or a pulldown menu on the actual web page) OR an option that brings up a window (eg. Help, About Firefox), the screen flickers & all application windows (MS Word, Putty, MS Outlook, etc) refresh. It takes 1-2 seconds for the actual pulldown window to appear. After that it appears to 'cache' that particular window and pulling it down again doesn't cause the flicker in all application windows (although pulling down another window that hasn't already been viewed causes the flicker again).

I am not experiencing this problem with Chrome or Internet Explorer (or any other app). This issue has only happened since upgrading to FF13. I am using Windows XP (x86) via Citrix VDI on a Wyse terminal.

Hello. Not sure if your issue is completely similar to Bug 767075 but are you running Flash Player 11.3 on your machine? If that's the case, can you try to disable 'protected mode'?

Could you also try updating your video card driver to the latest version?

I have worked around this problem by disabling hardware acceleration (Tools > Options > Advanced > Use hardware acceleration when available).

I'm using a dual screen monitor - not sure if that makes any difference. I'm not able to update video drivers as it's a work PC and I don't have admin access. I'm running the Portable version of Firefox 13.1 - http://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox_portable/

I'm not having any issues with latest versions of Chrome or IE. I'll test this issue with each new release of FF and let you know if it is resolved.
