Mobile Share Snippet

We have the technical implementation in place for our shareable snippets. (See screenshot). But we're concerned that it's not clear what we're asking the user to do when viewing the snippet.

The goal here is to get them to share the download page with their followers/friends. Any design suggestions on how we could make the CTA clear?

Chris B is concerned that it looks like we're promoting an integration with FB and Twitter vs asking them to share. I think he's right.

Hey Winston, for some reason I can't view attachments on bugzilla, would you mind emailing me the screenshot? Also, what is the deadline here?

Yup, makes sense. I think we should be hyperlinking the CTA "tell your friends" and have that open up a share bubble or expand the snippet to show the widgets for Facebook and Twitter.

I also don't think it should say "Facebook" and "Twitter" folks know what those icons represent :)

I suggest that on click, the CTA/snippet expands to show the two icons. It can instead say: "share / tweet" next to the icons.

My 2 cents. I think Lee created these. Pending the deadline, I can ask to see if he can tweak.

I think so. Assigning to Lee for now. He can flag if it's an issue and we can find another resource or push back the date if you have flexibility.
