Hi, I'm a developer on the Websites team in Developer Engagement. I'd like to have write access to the mozilla.com project within SVN to make fixes to the PHP side of mozilla.com. I already have an SVN account under mkelly@mozilla.com. Rik can vouch if I need a voucher (as he already has write access). Thanks!

As mkelly's manager, I approve.

Michael: Have you filled out the Mozilla Commit access form and returned it to Erica? http://www.mozilla.org/hacking/notification/ has the link to the form and instructions to return it to Erica.

Yes, I submitted it a while back when I first got SVN access. Is there anything I need to attach to the bug related to that?

Original SVN account is bug 678237. cmore: SVN access isn't tied to MoCo's org structure in any way. Rather than vouching as "mkelly's manager", it would be preferable if you vouched as "mozilla.com website peer". Though it looks like the mozilla.com website ownership isn't very well defined using our traditional governance structures... server-ops, please grant mkelly access to mozilla.com trunk (IIRC there's a group for that - mozilla-com-trunk? mozilla-com-webmasters?)

Which one is needed here? I see: [/projects/mozilla.com/trunk] @mozilla-com-trunk = rw [/projects/mozilla.com/branches] @mozilla-com-webmasters = rw

Though it looks like the mozilla.com website > ownership isn't very well defined using our traditional governance > structures... Yeah, the lack of ownership is very much the case. The owner is currently shared between John Slater and me, but this is only temporary until the Product Manager for Websites is hired. The PM for Websites is a new role for Mozilla because previously Mozilla.org was a shared responsibility between multiple groups. Thanks, Gavin!

Added. Give it around 30 minutes for puppet to deploy the change across our svn nodes.
