While we're not doing much work on drumbeat.org at the moment on trying to check out the staging server it seems to not be resolving.

Is it possible that we can turn is back on?

Any probs please let me know,

It's a victim of the SCL3 move, the VM wasn't restarted, looks like.

Booted and started, you should have access now.

Can you verify that all is working allright on that VM, and once you do that,
I'll re-enable the public access to it.

Oh, and before I forget, the VM is now called:

I'm on the box fine but I don't seem to be in the sudoers file

'ross is not in the sudoers file. This incident will be reported.'

Things aren't quite working as expected at the moment but I think I can see what's going on if I can get the sudo access I had before.

Thanks Gozer.

I've got no idea what's happening with that box, I know Paul had come up with some crazy hacks to get it working but the config on their looked s bit weird (alias pointing to allizom.com - something I know we've never had), I've changed it but we're still getting server timeouts.

Is there anything you can see in comparision on the live box?

Just noticed that production is running on drumbeat2.vm.labs.scl3.mozilla.com, and that there is another VM called drumbeat1.vm.labs.scl3.mozilla.com, could *that* be what's supposed to be the staging VM ?

It's currently powered down, but I will be brigining it back up shortly so you can have a look.

So should I make batucada.mozillalabs.com point there for the public ?

If you could that would be great - as, in case we ever need to added anything to the site it would be good to be able to test that it's working on a server before deploying straight up to live.

Thanks very much :Gozer
