Details
(Whiteboard: [flash-11.3] [testday-20120817])
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:13.0) Gecko/20120615 Firefox/13.0.1 SeaMonkey/2.10.1
Build ID: 20120615050225
Steps to reproduce:
Attempted to play video from multiple websites including cnn.com and mlb.com. Checked Adobe's website and add on manager in both browsers to see that plug in was up to date. Closed and restarted browser.
Actual results:
Nothing. I get a black screen or background where video playback should normally be.
Expected results:
Video should have played back. And it did approximately 3-4 weeks ago. That was before latest update to Firefox 13 and Sea Monkey 2.10.1

Please give us more information about the version of Flash, for know if that issue was solved or is new in that version.
Whiteboard: [flash-11.3] → [flash-11.3] [testday-20120817]
I have the same issue with Videos on Facebook: Playback error message.
http://www.chip.de/video/Windows-7-auf-Windows-10-upgraden-Praxis-Tipp-Video_73305981.html
shows the message: "html5: Video not properly encoded"
FlashPlayer version is "18,0,0,160".
Only working workaround so far: playback Video in Google Chrome (works fine).

I'm closing a lot of bugs which are filed as Adobe Flash bugs which are either irrelevant, not actionable, or not serious enough to track in the Mozilla bug tracker. For the most part, Flash bugs should be filed in Adobe bugbase, and we'll only track a few highly-critical issues in the Mozilla tracker.
