Details

From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; 0.8.1) Gecko/20010323
BuildID: 2001032319

This happens in browser and mail window.

Press CTRL+F to find some text, enter the text, press enter until you see the
Alert "The text you entered was not found". Press OK or ENTER. Then, when you
press "ESC" do close the "Find in This Page" dialog, it doesnt cancel. The ESC
key only works again when some of the fields are altered. If I change the "Find
text" field, or any other field is changed, then the ESC key works.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Press CTRL+F at browser or mail
2.enter text and press ENTER till alert "The text you entered was not found"
3.Press ok. Press ESC.

Actual Results: you'll see pressing ESC doesnt work

Expected Results: close the Find dialog

oh, enough ;-)
It's enough to just give the Find dialog focus, and then you can press ESC. Is
this not how it is supposed to be?
The thing is, where is the focus? It's no where, it gets lost, or stays on
the alert dialog, I don't know. Try to reproduce exactly how I explained, then
try to type anything, press the arrow keys, enter, space, tab, try anything. The
thing is, the focus is no where. All you can do from the keyboard is ALT-F4, the
only thing that works, or using your mouse.
This is a duplicate of bug 54936 which was fixed at the end of march. It is
working for me with build 2001042012. Reporter if you are still seeing this with
a new build go ahead and reopen. If this does reoccur it's probably a duplicate
of bug 74053, read the last comments in bug 54936 for more information.
