Description

Formal tracker for "ready to go live" signoff on new git server.

This is work already agreed to in various emails and conversations, just pulling into a bug for visibility at joduinn's request.

There is work left to be done by both RelEng & IT as indicated in the dependencies. Bug filed with IT as they have the "switch".

added additional requirements to host repository of record (from email thread):
 - bug 769616 for redundant hardware
 - bug 785571 for git-o-lite software upgrade

Shyam will provide effort estimates for each before Aug 29

New hardware is in place. Software bits are being worked on.

Everything is good to go. The last remaining bug is for setting up backups.
