From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux 2.2.16-22 i686; en-US; rv:0.8.1+) Gecko/20010419 BuildID: 2001041921 Mozilla will crash if: 1. I try to autocomplete an address 2. I try to open the address book from the menu: Tasks/Address Book Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. start a new email 2. type in a partial address to force autocomplete 3. watch Mozilla mysteriously disappear OR 1. mouse to Tasks/Address Book on the menu bar 2. watch Mozilla mysteriously disappear Actual Results: All mozilla windows disappear. No core file found Expected Results: shown the address book window I do not "clean slate" my environment every time I download a new Mozilla. Since there is no way to export an address book I'm kind of stuck. Flash player plugin is installed, but Java is not.

Just checked this: Mozilla will crash if the Address Book hotkeys are pressed (CTL-5)
i can't confirm this. On my system both, autocomplete and starting adressbook works. my build is from today, ca. 5 hours old. OS: Linux

Unable to re-produce this bug. Please re-test it Linux (2001-04-23-05 trunk) Win32 (2001-04-23-06 trunk) Mac (2001-04-23-08 trunk)
No core file found, either in my home directory or in the mozilla directory. The following gets printed out: /usr/local/mozilla/m20/mozilla/run-mozilla.sh: line 72: 3716 Segmentation falue $prog $(1+$@} No, I do not "clean out" my .mozilla directory from run to run. I'm running Red Hat 7.0. I am able to bring up the address book under earlier versions of Mozilla (e.g. 8.0). Any ideas?
If you can get a stacktrace from the crash that would really help.
I don't know if you guys are going to shoot me or not: I downloaded the latest Mozilla today. Address book comes up just fine. No more crashes. Mark this one closed kids.
