When people try to register with email address as the username tell them why we don't accept it

Currently when people try to register with an email address as the username we show a generic message: * Username may contain only letters, numbers and ./+/-/_ characters. * The user name you entered is inappropriate. Please pick another and consider that our helpers are other Firefox users just like you. We should swap the "username inappropriate" message for something that tells the user why we don't accept email addresses.
We now display "Your username will be shown next to your question in our public support forums." on the form always. I think that might be enough?
