Per https://etherpad.mozilla.org/b2g-builds, this is useful to have for external contributors until legal review allows us to post arm-emulator-builds-with-codecs publicly.

Lots of details, so lets collect all bugs across various groups attached to this tracking bug.

Per today's B2G meeting, reduced priority on these b2g-arm-emulator-no-codecs builds - people find B2G Desktop builds more useful for now. Updated https://etherpad.mozilla.org/b2g-builds to match.

:cjones, :jgriffin: Do we still need this, or can we close as WONTFIX / DUP to bug#789652?

I ask because, given the work there for "testing b2g builds in emulator-with-codecs", is there any value to "testing same b2g builds in emulator-without-codecs" ?

There is no need to test emulator-without-codecs; the purpose of generating the sans-codecs builds was to allow us to distribute them.  But it appears that figuring out how to generate a build without codecs isn't trivial.  I'm going to close this; we can reopen if we ever figure out how to generate such a build.
