769958 - godaddy.com (desktop site) main input box default text overlaps user entered text in Fennec

1) Open Fennec and click URL bar
2) Type "godaddy.com" and hit enter
2a) If presented with the mobile site, scroll to the bottom and select the blue link, "GoDaddy.com Full Site".
3) On page load, click the input box that says, "Search for a new domain"
4) Begin typing.

Expected: Default text ("Search for a new domain") disappears and only user text is seen.
Result: Default text overlaps user text

The default text seems to disappear over time - it's a bit arbitrary though. Also, adding spaces to the user text will make the default text disappear immediately.

This appears to be in all versions of native Fennec.

Tested on Asus Transformer Prime TF201, Android 4.0.3, and Galaxy Nexus, Android 4.0.4.

Also note there is a mobile site and native application so the usabiliy of godaddy is not at stake here.

While I'm not a great web dev, looking at the source, it seems the input box is just a div where the default text is altered with Javascript so it could be a delayed code execution issue.

This is not related to font inflation.
