Steps to reproduce:

I entered a direct download-link for a file on my ftp server:
ftp://login:[e-mail]/folder/file.exe

try it for yourselves.


Actual results:

Firefox just crashes. There's nothing I can do.


Expected results:

The download manager should have appeared.


Internet Explorer 9 has'nt got any problems with those links.

I just figured out that it's an issue of  the "Free Download Manager Plugin" Addon.

I will report it upstream.
