Description

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; rv:13.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/13.0.1
Build ID: 20120614114901

Steps to reproduce:

Attempt to run any java applet

Actual results:

prompted to install plugin

Expected results:

Apple suggests that I should be asked if I want to enable their plugin, but their plugin no longer appears to exist in the Firefox plugin list. Applets work fine with same java and OS with chrome. Apparently Apple did somethign with their JUNE RELEASE THAT BARS FIREFOX 13 from running java at all.

Resolved this by getting rid of pluginreg.dat in profile/XXXXXXXX.default
Apparently the file identified the plugin as disabled and nother would reverse that.
