Installing a web application on marketplace - marketplace still lists that the app is not installed on OS X

Steps:

1. Install a web application off of marketplace
2. Reload the app page

Expected:

The app button should be shown as installed.

Actual:

The app button is still listed as install, which implies an app is not currently installed. Under the hood, getInstalled() is being used, so something isn't working on Mac. With the config value set for myapps also, nothing is coming on the myapps dashboard. I get the feeling the isLaunchable implementation for Mac isn't working correctly.
Root cause is being tracked in bug 770297. Will reopen if it turns out to be different.
