Hi,

so I have tested it again.

I can create new Blogs & New Feeds Acount through File - New - Other Accounts.

I can add new rss to this account through Feed Subscribtions Dialog.

But I have very old account which name is RSS kanály and this account contains more than 100 RSS or atom subscribtions.

And I can't add new subscribtion to this account.

I tried add new rss channel through Feed Subscribtions Dialog, I filled Feed URL, e.g. http://rss.sme.sk/rss/rss.asp?sek=veda, then select RSS kanály and press Add button and nothing happend.
But when I select my new created account so RSS is added.

What is the name of the new RSS account?

Also, after the adding of new feeds fails, can you go into Tools->Error console to see if there are any errors?

you must first select the account (a folder will be created) or a folder (url is added to that existing folder), then fill in the url and Add.

it is possible the url already exists in the old account feeds.rdf, and this error should be logged. you can check the feeds.rdf in the old account (in Tb14, select the account folder in Subscribe and click the Store Articles field to find the account's location on disk).

a number of bugs have been fixed which led to problems in the feeds.rdf database, especially if folders had been moved. the current code attempts to resync, but this won't be always possible and the old db may have dead records.

the single best thing you could do is create a new account, copy all the folders and messages into the new account, then export the old account feeds and reimport them into the new account (and new fresh clean database).

it's best to do this export in Tb15 (current beta) as it fixes the old problem of not maintaining folder structure and other export bugs.

It will be problem with DB because in past I have problem with duplicate records, I had one RSS channel and in the tree view was this channel showed 4 times and after RSS channel name was some ID string like this a4fsds58. I couldn't delete this rss channel few thunderbird version. Around the 12 version I managed to delete that channel.

I have tried export and then import and it works, I don't know if all channels was successfuly exported and imported, but I check it later.

the large renovation (which didn't include parsing) started to hit in Tb12 and is completed in Tb15. in the error console you can see a lot of details of what's going on by setting pref Feeds.logging.console to debug.
