Dragging tab to create new window doesnt show tab just the + tab for adding new tabs

Details

STR:

1. Have a browser open with a few tabs open
2. Drag tab out of window to create a new window

If I create a new tab in the window the keyboard shortcuts go to the tab but I cant access it via mouse.
Duplicate of bug 760298. Which incidentally has not been addressed, and still exists in Firefox 14.0.1. Also, if Firefox is closed and then restored, the first tab on each window does not appear in the tab bar.
