Details

(Whiteboard: [pm-wanted])

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:13.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/13.0.1 Build ID: 20120614114901 Steps to reproduce: I clicked this link : https://developer-new.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/fr/SVG/Element/animateColor From this page : https://developer-new.mozilla.org/fr/docs/SVG/Element Actual results: I was redirected there : https://developer-new.mozilla.org/fr/docs/SVG/Element/animateColor With the non-existing translation header message and have been served non-translated document. Expected results: I should have been able to click on : https://developer-new.mozilla.org/fr/docs/SVG/Element/animateColor right from the reference, and the link should have been red if the doc didn't existed. I guess this is an incentive to promote translating, and still serve content, but this the user actually waits for a doc in his language. Some thinking required to confirm the behaviour.

Need to discuss this with l10n and translators before we take it on.

I'm closing this one. Non-translated urls shows the English content with a warning banner. Shouldn't be confusing any more. Fred, if you disagree, please reopen.
