Many users of Fennec may not use Firefox as their primary desktop browser. We should offer products that let them connect their other desktop browser(s) with Sync, so that they're not forced to choose between using Fennec and having their browser info available on their mobile device.

This has been discussed previously with Product, and is not a priority at this time.  We may revisit this in a post-Persona world, but I would not expect to have any time for this prior to some time in 2013.

I don't think there's any value in keeping this bug open. This is a product-level decision, and those discussions aren't going to happen in Bugzilla. Suffice to say that I think everyone is aware of this perspective, and we broadly think it's a good idea.
