I don't know what happened with the original submission, but here's what was supposed to be there. 1. Start Thunderbird. 2. Compose a new e-mail. 3. Save it as a draft, but don't close the compose window. 4. Quit Thunderbird. 5. Start Thunderbird. Note that while your draft was (probably) saved, the compose window was not restored. It would be nice if Thunderbird restored all open windows after a restart. Note: Mail.app does this correctly (it restores compose windows that were open at quit-time if the respective drafts still exist).
Status: UNCONFIRMED → NEW
Ever confirmed: true
Summary: open draft window is not restored after restart → Reopen windows after a restart - extended cession restart.
