Details
After spending several hours browsing websites, Firefox starts to freeze every few seconds - scrolling and dynamic website elements stop, Flash video freezes. The memory usage also skyrockets (highest I've seen is 1.5 GB in W7 64-bit). Restarting the browser seems to fix the problem, but it often takes more than half a minute for Firefox to shut down. The problem has persisted at least a few versions back, and appeared both in Windows 7 32-bit and 64-bit.

If you browse around with the Flash Plugin disabled (Addon Manager/Plugin Panel) does it make a Difference? Can you attach a about:memory Text Output to this Report with High Memory Usage?
