STR:
1) Go to google.com
2) Type "moz"

Expected result:
Input field says "moz"

Actual result:
Input field says "mozilla"

This is on a Galaxy S, Android 2.3.5, with the Samsung keypad.
This is the design of Samsung IME.  Samsung IME sets predicted composition string even if typing isn't completed.   So this isn't fennec issue.

You should turn off prediction of IME.
