I highly suspect this is related to the scl3 colo move, but there is no data in GoFaster since April 1. http://brasstacks.mozilla.com/gofaster/#/buildcharts I'm reviving the BuildFaster side of this, so I'm going to need this data. Not sure what we should do about back-filling data (if we should bother at all).
There is no new data because the data source we rely on in GoFaster is no longer available. The dashboard periodically would consume: http://build.mozilla.org/builds/buildfaster.csv.gz which was being updated daily by an automatic process (run by catlee?) with data scrunged from the buildbot db's. This url now returns an HTTP 404.
This sort of data lives in http://builddata.pub.build.mozilla.org/buildjson/ now, but we need to start putting buildfaster data there.
catlee: where can I find the script for this? I'm happy to try to get this setup again.
currently it's on cruncher in my home directory. the entry point is ~/bin/buildfaster_report.sh. It's bombing out on B2G builders it doesn't understand ATM.
Checked the script into braindump: https://hg.mozilla.org/build/braindump/rev/24adc28bf378 The script is cron-ed up again and producing output that can be digested by brasstacks: http://build.mozilla.org/builds/buildfaster.csv.gz jgriffin: do you happen to know how often brasstacks tries to download/parse the new data?
(In reply to Chris Cooper [:coop] from comment #5) > > jgriffin: do you happen to know how often brasstacks tries to download/parse > the new data? It happens once a day, at midnight.
New data is being submitted now.
