Details
When entering a password into an HTML form using the Google Japanese IME in English/12key mode it is difficult to enter a character from the same key twice in a row. Every subsequent press of the key modifies the last character (ie rotates it through the characters for that key).
To replicate:
1. Set IME to 12 key mode and English for the screen orientation you are using.
2. Navigate to a password field.
3. Press 'a', wait 2 seconds, press 'a' again.
Actual: The 'a' character for the first press is modified to 'b'.
Expected: A second 'a' character to be entered.
The normal keyboard 'commits' the character after a second or two of idle time.
Device: HTC Desire HD
Android: 2.3.5
Firefox: Nightly 16.0a1 (2012-07-11)

Sorry I have been using the 12-key English mode a bit more and it turns out that is exactly how the IME behaves even outside of Firefox.
