Steps to reproduce:

Browser : Aurora 15.0a2 (2012-07-12)
OS : Windows 7 32-bit

Steps to reproduce the issue:

1) Open www.google.com 
2) search an item in it (search any keyword)
3) Look at the blue colored search button that appears on the right side when it displays the results

Frequency :

always reproducible

Actual results:


the blue colored search button was not having any search icon on it unlike internet explorer or safari


Expected results:

The "blue colored search button"  should have a search icon

i can't attach the screenshot , bugzilla is crashing with the error :

WFM here on Win 7 with the latest Aurora, I see the blue button with the magnifying glass on Google.com: http://i.imgur.com/oHD6G.jpg


Try in safe mode and with a new Firefox profile.

Hi Loic,

1) first of all in safe mode the Ethernet NIC card is disabled and I cant enable it so we can't do what you are saying ( i mean when there is no internet connection we can't search) 

2) Secondly , I tried the second part like you said with a new profile (but not in safe mode ). still i see the same issue

Please suggest if there is any other work around

I'm speaking about safe mode IN Firefox: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Firefox_Safe_Mode

 started firefox in safe mode and than created a new profile :-> firefox -safe-mode -P 

  still google doesn't shows the search icon

Do you see any error messages in error console? (clear the error console messages, follow your STR and check the error console messages)

Does it occur in Firefox Nightly or Firefox Beta?

WFM with latest Nightly on Win 7 x86. Please reopen the bug if you still see this issue.
