Steps to reproduce:

I entered my email address - and now I'm panicking since Bugzilla shows it in clear form everywhere. I'll get a deluge of spam now thanks to bots crawling the page.

Could someone either delete my account or change my email to a bogus one?


Actual results:

Gosh, I wanted to give feedback on a bug - but I regret it. I do not want my email in clear form on the net.
Since I used persona I cant login here and change my email. It says my password is wrong (which it is not). Deleting my persona account didn't help... well, probably made it worse.

There is no "delete account" nor "delete comment".


Expected results:

1: Emails should not be visible - ever
2: There should be an option to delete comments
3: I should be able to change my preferences (thanks to using the persona account, there isnt).
4 ideally: I should be able to wipe my account including the actions I did.

1. Click "Logout" on the top of the page.
2. Click "Forgot Password" on the top of the page and enter your email address on the next page, afterward clicking "Submit".
3. Using the link sent to you in the email, set the password to your preference.
4. Make sure you are logged into Bugzilla directly, not using BrowserID choice.
5. Go to "Preferences" link at the top of the page.
6. Under the "Account" tab, enter your new password, and also enter your choice of email address in the Email field.
7. After submitting, you will receive an email to the new address allowing you to verify the change by clicking the link to complete. 

I will close this once you let me know you have been changed in this method.

FWIW, email addresses in any Bugzilla page are only displayed if the user is currently logged in, otherwise only your real name is displayed. SPAM bots generally do not log in with real Bugzilla accounts to scrape email addresses. Also Mozilla does not claim responsibility for the email addresses used in our tracking system due to it's open nature.
