We suspect that we installed it long time ago by mistake to figure out a driver (I believe since inception as I see it on many slaves). Should I bother with this? Please WONTFIX if you think so.
we should uninstall it IMO because of 1) it's a tool that could change the config of a host to something different than the ref image and 2) it will require all hosts to contact the internet and deliver machine configurations for a host that is inside of the secure network. #2 is worrisome IMO because SecTeam hasn't reviewed it that I know of and also that the network access will be blocked unless whitelisted
I just checked again and I saw that the scheduled task is left behind but C:\Program Files\Driver Doctor does not exist. RESOLVED WORKSFORME Adding joduinn since he asked about this.
