Steps to reproduce:

Updated firefox and flash player. I think they are not working right together.


Here is something that i tried that made firefox work well again. I uninstalled the newest flash player version and i installed flash player 10.1 and that made firefox work right again. The problem is that they update flash for a reason so i don't want to use an old version just to use firefox cause of security purposes. 

So in the mean time i am using chrome which works great so far.


Actual results:

For about a month now (ever since new firefox and flash came out) i have been having nothing but trouble. I am having trouble playing vidoes, games (battle pirates on facebook) and just having trouble all around as the browser freezes alot or just plain crashes.




Expected results:

I would have figured it would have worked as is always does or better.

In addition, just disable the protected mode in Flash 11.3, it should solve most of your issues (see http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1018071?tstart=0 chapter "last resort")

Why should i leave my computer vulnerable by downgrading flash to 10.3. No thanks, i will stick with chrome as i have no issues with it. Let me know when the issues are fixed and i might switch back. Thanks for your time!

Mozilla fixed some crashes when Flash 11.3 has been released (and I guess some incoming patches are in the pipe). But a large part of the news bugs with Flash 11.3 (repainting issue, focus stolen, no video, hangs etc) are due to Flash itself and in most cases its protected mode. So blame Adobe.
