From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:0.8.1+)
Gecko/20010424
BuildID: 2001042404
Mozilla is set to handle all html files, as well as http and https internet
shortcuts called from the windows taskbar's address toolbar.
If an instance of mozilla is not already loaded, when the internet shortcut is
entered at the windows address toolbar (or via the start->run), two mozilla
windows are opened up. One window will of course contain the website that the
url belongs to. The other window will either be blank, or it will be a duplicate
of the first window. It is a duplicate if in mozilla's windows integration
preferences only the http and https options are checked to on under "Internet
Shortcuts". It is blank if, along with the http and https options, the "HTML
documents" option is checked to on under "File Types".
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Under Preferences->Advanced->Windows integration, set to html filetype and
http & https internet shortcuts
2.close all instances of mozilla
3.go to start->run, enter url, or see #4
4.in the startbar's "Address" toolbar, enter url
Actual Results: two windows are opened, with one being the target url, the
other being either blank or the same url
Expected Results: should have opened only one window with the target url loaded
does not happen if at least one other instance of mozilla is already loaded.
