Firefox 17.a1 (2012-07-17) Device: Galaxy Nexus OS: Android 4.0.4 Steps to reproduce: 1. Open Firefox 2. Go to Menu > Setting > Import from Android and tap on Import button (History and Bookmarks options are checked by default) 3. Go to Awesomescreen > Bookmarks 4. Long tap on an imported bookmark and tap on Edit 5. Add a keyword and press Done 6. Remove the edited bookmark at step 4 7. Repeat step 2 8. Check if there is any keyword added to the edited bookmark at step 4 (which was re imported at the previous step) Expected result: Keyword field is empty. Actual result: The added keyword at step 5 is still present at step 8, even if the bookmark was removed. It seems that the bookmark still remains in the DB. Note: I tried a similar scenario where between steps 6 and 7 I quit and reopened Fennec, but I had the same result.
I believe you should see the same behavior even without the import feature, if you simply add, delete and add a bookmark within Fennec itself.
