Using imap.

Steps to recreate:
1. Drag mail to folder and release

Result - Nothing - no change

Expected result - Mail moved to folder

which build?  what type (imap? pop?) was the source folder / what type was the
dest folder?

Have seen this also over the last week or two, and just confirmed on installer
Windows build 2001042404 (Win 98 ... on Win 2000 too, I believe). Using IMAP
with UW IMAP server. 

The cursor changes as expected when dragging the mail item, but nothing happens
when the mouse button is released when dropping into a folder. Tcpdump confirms
there is no network activity during this operation. Right-clicking on the mail
message and selecting "Move to.." works as expected (and tcpdump shows expected
network activity).

Build# 2001041904. Using imap. Source folder - inbox on NSMail-1. Destination - 
any other folder in my nsmail-1 account.

This problem happened before, I am wondering whether this is dup bug or 
regression bug?? I will try to find the bug number.....

Wait! I am thinking this is invalid bug since UW IMAP server only provide 
single-use folder (not dual-use folder). It won't allow you to move a message 
from thread pane to a \NoSelect folder(the greyout folder), but it will allow 
you to move message to a \NoInferiors(non-greyout) folder .
Make sure your perference setup correctly for the Server Advanced setting 
w/"uncheck server supports folders contain sub-folders & messages".
Marking as invalid.

Verified invlaid since I cannot reproduce problem w/correct setup for UW IMAP.
