Device: HTC Desire (Android 2.2)/HTC Desire Z (Android 2.3.3)

Steps to reproduce:
1. Go to google.com.
2. Switch to the classic version.
3. Search for a term.
4. In the results list search for something else.

Expected results:
The search suggestions are displayed as a dropdown list.

Actual results:
Search suggestions are not displayed.

Notes:
Please also note Bug 684836 which was previously filed for the issue and closed when google was loading the desktop version. Since then google reverted to sending the mobile version for Firefox Mobile.

I don't see this issue with Google serving us their touch-site version (08/07). On the classic site, they dont do search results on the results page.
