Getting the following error:
Jul 18 06:56:30 preproduction-stage puppetd[3459]: (//Node[stage-and-aus2-server]/stagelayout/File[/builds/data/ftp/pub/thunderbird/try-builds]) Failed to retrieve current state of resource: Could not find user tbirdtry

This is not a Buildduty type of task but an addition to one of our supported platforms.

This is an old one!  Do we still need to do this?  Could they be puppetized with just toplevel::server in the interim?

It would be something! A stage server needs a lot of accounts and directory structure to function correctly, though. The productdelivery repo might have useful manifests for this already come to think of it...
..and it looks like that's bug 808025, where this might be replaced with a product-delivery host, or maybe eliminated entirely.
