Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:17.0) Gecko/17.0 Firefox/17.0
Build ID: 20120718030544

Steps to reproduce:

steps to reproduce :

1. opt for HTML5 videos in youtube settings
2. disable flash plugin
3. open this url : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4CagMNLxa9M

4. wait for the "script is busy" dialog to appear.

Actual results:

FF stopped responding. after some time the "script is busy" dialog box appears. if i click on continue, the browser hangs a bit more and then returns to normal.

Expected results:

smooth video playback with no browser hang

enabling/disabling HWA makes no difference. the first 3 times, the browser just crashed. after a few restarts, it only hangs.
Same here on Windows XP SP3 x86. Looks like a regression: I can't remember this dialog on Firefox 13.x
Same problem using Firefox 14 on OS X.

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.7; rv:14.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/14.0

Example video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RefNzH9AKeI
also happening on ubuntu x64 11.04. So not confined to windows only.
