thunderbird crashes

Is this when viewing a message? Or composing?

Do you mean it hangs (stops responding)?  
Or does it crash (thunderbird goes away)?

1) are you able to reproduce this bug?
2) Can you provide exact steps of what you did before the hang occured, like this:
   1) write new msg
   2) click here...
   3) do this...
3) Any other details (POP or IMAP, type/size of attachment etc.)

We appreciate your bug report, but without more information, I don't think there's much we can do here (incomplete).
