Details

STR:
1) Go to nytimes.com
2) Click an article
3) Open the menu before the reading icon appears in the URL bar
4) Wait for reading icon to appear

Expected result:
"Reading List" item in menu becomes enabled

Actual result:
"Reading List" item is still disabled; menu needs to be closed/reopened

Droid RAZR and Galaxy Nexus, ICS.
Fixed with bug 766940.
