To give more visibility to ReMo events, we need to post event summaries on the new blog.mozilla.org/community

David, Do you think this is something we could / should open up to Mozilla Reps? BTW, is this blog syndicated to Planet Mozilla?
(In reply to Brian King (Briks) [:kinger] from comment #1) > Do you think this is something we could / should open up to Mozilla Reps? Sure. I think it would be great to have one or more Reps own an Events category in the blog and to post events content there. We can give those owners access to post directly. Jan owns the Spotlight category and posts directly and that model is working well. CC'ing Mary to this just so she'll be aware of who ends up taking this. > BTW, is this blog syndicated to Planet Mozilla? Syndicated to Planet Mozilla Projects.
Maybe get Jan to trawl through reps.mozilla.org/events/ and get event details off people, and summarise events on blog.mozilla.org/community
I'd be happy to do it. :)

Has this been happening yet?

I haven't seen any posts in the Event category on the about:community blog yet.

Hey, sorry for the long delay. I just have three last questions before I can get started: How long should each blog post be? Should I publish them weekly or bi-weekly? And how should they be structured? (The blog posts could be divided in continents, weekdays, etc...)
Flags: needinfo?(jan.bambach)
Jan, Frequency depends on other things, like how much traffic the blog is getting, but I think weekly makes sense, makes it digestible. I think breaking it down by region also makes more sense as people will be most interested in things they might be able to go to. I don't think length matters as much as quality of content. Feel free to run drafts by us until you hit your groove!
Alright, thanks. Here's the first draft: http://awesomescreenshot.com/065s6g13c
